1. General Refund Policy

At BoltAi, we strive to provide exceptional AI services. However, we understand that circumstances may arise where you need a refund. This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued.

2. Credit Purchases

Non-Refundable Credits

Credits purchased for one-time use are generally non-refundable once the purchase is complete. This includes:

  • Credit packages purchased individually
  • Credits that have been used for AI interactions
  • Promotional or bonus credits

Exceptions

Refunds for credit purchases may be considered in the following cases:

  • Technical errors resulting in duplicate charges
  • Service outages preventing credit usage within 7 days of purchase
  • Unauthorized charges (subject to verification)

Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of purchase and before credits are substantially used (more than 10% of purchased amount).

3. Subscription Refunds

Monthly Subscriptions

Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable. When you cancel a subscription:

  • You retain access until the end of the current billing period
  • No refund is provided for the remaining days in the billing cycle
  • Unused subscription credits expire at the end of the billing period
  • Auto-renewal is disabled, and you will not be charged again

First-Time Subscribers

If you are unsatisfied with your first subscription payment, you may request a refund within 3 days of purchase, provided:

  • This is your first subscription to BoltAi
  • You have used less than 10% of your subscription credits
  • You submit the refund request within 3 days of the initial charge

4. Service Outages and Technical Issues

If BoltAi experiences significant service outages or technical issues that prevent you from using the service:

  • We may extend your subscription period to compensate for downtime
  • Credit refunds or bonus credits may be issued for substantial outages
  • Compensation is determined on a case-by-case basis
  • Minor interruptions (less than 1 hour) do not qualify for refunds

5. Unauthorized Charges

If you believe you have been charged without authorization:

  • Contact us immediately at [email protected]
  • Provide transaction details and evidence of unauthorized access
  • We will investigate and issue a refund if the charge is confirmed as unauthorized
  • Your account may be temporarily suspended during investigation

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  1. Email [email protected] with "Refund Request" in the subject line
  2. Include your account email, transaction ID, and reason for the refund
  3. Provide any relevant documentation or screenshots
  4. Allow 5-7 business days for review and processing

7. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days and returned to the original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional 3-5 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

8. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback without first contacting us, your account will be immediately suspended pending resolution. We encourage you to contact us directly to resolve any billing disputes before pursuing a chargeback with your bank.

9. Changes to Refund Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of BoltAi after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
